On October 5th, the Mystic VFW will host a special benefit concert headlined by Purple Tide, with all proceeds supporting the Andrew Heylmun Legacy Fund. This fund was established in 2021 by friends and family to honor the memory of Andrew Heylmun, who passed away in December 2020.
The primary focus of the fundraiser is to support “The Andrew Heylmun Legacy Annual Scholarship” at Southern Connecticut State University. This scholarship is designed to reflect and uphold the values and beliefs that Andrew cherished.
The scholarship will be awarded to incoming or current undergraduate students at SCSU who are majoring in a program within the School of Business. Recipients must also maintain satisfactory academic standing as defined by the university or their specific academic program.
Join us for a night of great music and meaningful contributions as Purple Tide takes the stage to support this worthy cause. It’s an opportunity to celebrate Andrew’s legacy and make a positive impact on future students pursuing their dreams in business.
